Isabel Echeverry

headIsabel Echeverry is the founder of Kontakto.  She started her career at ICM working with Jeff Berg and then moved to Reber Covington where she was a director’s rep working with A list talent.  Recognizing the huge potential in the Hispanic market, Isabel created a Hispanic division at the company that quickly experienced enormous success.  In 2009, Echeverry opened Kontakto Reps-the “go-to” company in the Hispanic advertising world. That roster is comprised of several powerhouse production companies such as Believe Media, Biscuit Filmworks, America Filmworks, Garage Films, Whitehouse Post, Lobo Design Studios, Personal Music, Altered LA, Slim, La Banda Films, Epic Nerds, George, Bully and Nunchaku.  The roster of production companies represents an impressive array of award-winning directors including Academy-Award winner  Guillermo Navarro & nominee Carlos Cuarón.  Last year alone, clients of Kontakto Reps received a total of over six Cannes Lions Awards. Under Kontakto, Isabel is focusing on the integration of film and advertising.  Additionally, Echeverry also has under creative development a feature film, “Haunted Beauty”, based on her life’s story which is currently in development and at one of the biggest talent agencies for packaging.  The much-anticipated film will be produced under the Kontakto slate.  Echeverry’s ability to navigate the Hispanic and global market has proven invaluable on all the projects she is involved in and also promises great success in this ever-growing market.  Isabel is a big believer in the concept of giving back and ‘paying it forward’.  In addition to the charities and mentoring she is involved in, she also a member of the board for the Monaco Charity Film Festival for the past seven years and is an advisor for the NPO Nosotros.  While born in New York, Echeverry currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and children.
